Sense kitchen - Machine Food

This Sense kitchen we will change the Fablab into a gastronomical place, where the plastic smells will be replaced by lasered, milled and speed frozen food fumes.



We will start the evening with a good old homemade "snert" from Henk, so we can start our food experiments with a full stomach. During the 3-4 hour prototyping session we will have two main fields to explore in ralation to cooking:

Food constructions

• Always wanted to build a chocolate I-phone
• Create you own candy molds
• Build a candy paper house or lamp
• Lasercut a special apple pie

Experimental cooking

• Try out molecular-cooking
• Discover the secret of chocolate and endorfine
• What to do with nitrogen?

You can suggest a spectacular food experiment and we will try to get the ingredients and the equipment.
