inspired by http://www.electroniccrafts.org/?n=Main.Shakelight we started building our own shakelight.

This simple circuit is being used to build our shakelight.
After testing with different coils and magnets, we found out that the more coils you make, and the stronger the magnets are, the more current is generated.
The best way to generate power is to make te coil as big as the magnets are. The tube should be at least 3 times as big as the coil, so the magnet will leave the coil. This way the magnetic field will go through the coil.

When shaking the light you charge the capacitor.

When you push the button the current is send to the led...

And there was light!!!
