"There is no such thing as a free lunch"

The FabLab is open 5 days a week. Different (groups of) people can use the facilities at the same time. One can use the FabLab free of charge on Tuesdays and Thursdays for experimenting and prototyping projects. The other days FabLab will charge you a fee for the use of the facilities.

Tuesday & Thursday: Free!!! (only a small charge in case you want to use our materials or drink our coffee)

Other days the following prices apply (during office hours Monday, Wednesday & Friday): 

For individuals:

machine use: 75 €/h *; non-profit: 50 €/h *

For groups:

You want the Lab to yourself? You can also hire the Lab and it's facilities exclusively for a (half) day. You can bring a maximum of 15 friends/colleagues.

Exclusive introduction (1,5 h):                                    €   200,00 * 

Exclusive rental per day:                                       € 1.400,00 *

* VAT/(BTW) of 19% and materials are not included. Not including dedicated support of FabLab Crew.

FabLab Crew

You can hire the members of our experienced FabLab Crew to support you finding solutions for your technical questions: They will charge € 120 per hour (non-profit: € 85 per hour) ex. VAT.

FabAcademy

The FabAcademy courses can be followed at Amsterdam Fablab. Classes are taking place on Wed afternoon. Any one module costs € 125 and can be paid on the first day of any module (cash or PIN). Additionally, a one-off application fee of €50 per student is payable to FabAcademy Barcelona.

Workshops

FabLab organizes different sorts of workshops with themes like inspiration, prototyping, team building on subjects like design, sensors, robots etc. Feel free to contact us for a custom made program.

Production facility

If you want to produce a series of articles it is possible to reserve the machines needed at € 75 per machine per hour (non-profit: 50 €/h) ex. VAT. Additional staff costs apply if you want the FabLab crew to monitor your production process (see above).
